A Note to My 7-year-old Self
I still remember it very clearly; you had a poster of the Backstreet Boys on your wall. It was a promotional gimmick that you got when you bought their second album Backstreet’s Back; that was how you first got infatuated with them.
The posters had their name and autographs and that was also how you know which one is your favourite Boys. And how every night you dream that someday you would be able to see them live in concert; you are going to stand in the very front row, screaming madly for them, rejoicing the fact that you are able to see them from such a close distant.
If you check out this video, dear Self, you might realise that thirteen years later, that dream had finally came true.
Yup. That’s right. That was Nick Carter in front of you. And look. Guess who’s coming a few seconds later? Brian Littrell, who was your very first celebrity crush.
Congratulations. Do not try to hold your screams; it is unhealthy. Scream with all you might. Celebrate the teenage girl in you.
